Regulations · Members of the public will be permitted to attend CPCCA Inquiry Hearings on a first come first serve basis, and will be subject to the security procedures of the House of Commons. · Individuals must RSVP by 12 noon, on the Friday before the hearings, to attend the hearings for security purposes. To RSVP, please email cpcca@parl.gc.ca, and write “RSVP” and the hearing date in the subject line. Please note that an RSVP does not guarantee a seat at the hearings and is only for security reasons. · Only members of the Inquiry Panel will be able to ask questions of the witnesses. · Participation by members of the public in any form of demonstration is prohibited, including carrying signs or making outward statements. · Media will be allowed to take photographs or video of the CPCCA hearings only until the meeting is called to order, after it is adjourned, and when witnesses are exchanged in the middle. Journalists are allowed to attend the hearings on a first-come first served basis, provided that they abide by all regulations for the public. · Only the Cable Public Affairs Channel (CPAC) will be permitted to record or videotape the proceedings. · Bilingual transcripts of the proceedings will be available at this website starting in early February. |
